New Director of the Year finalists announced
The KODAK AWARD New Director of the Year finalists are:

The KODAK AWARD New Director – Student or Current Graduate finalists are:
Leo Woodhead, Thick as Thieves, Auckland
Qing Xie, Red Water Red, Melbourne
David Rusanow, Victorian Collage of The Arts, Melbourne
Finalists were selected from an impressive collection of entries from six countries across the Asia Pacific Region.
The overall winner will be announced at the upcoming KODAK AWARD NewDirector of The Year Cocktail Party on September 9th, The Water Bar atBLUE Sydney in the presence of VIP guests, the AWARD Award Judges.
Bookings for the event close Thursday September 3rd, unless sold out prior.

The winning current commercial director will be awarded a prize of 10 x400′ loads of 35mm Kodak Motion Picture Film valued at approximatelyA$4,000.
And the winning film school student or recent graduate will be awarded5 x 400′ loads of 16mm KODAK Motion Picture film valued atapproximately $1,300.
The winners will also be introduced and recognised at the AWARDPresentation Evening to be held on November 12th 2009 and attended byup to 800 of the finest industry members from the region.
