Ogilvy Sydney’s Jane Le and Ash Myburgh

have won professional overall first place while

David Jones-Hawke and Serge Ozegovic

from Banjo Advertising

Sydney have claimed second.

Young Glory see teams earn points over 8 months, across 8 briefs, set and judged by 8 creative leaders from around the world.

This season’s judges came from Droga5, Wieden+Kennedy, BBH, GPY&R, Party, CP+B, Ansible and Pepsi.

Numerous Australians featured in the judging line-up too, including Ansible CEO Ross Raeburn, Droga5 group CD Andrew Fergusson and PepsiCo senior manager Greg Tan.

The Australian teams who dominated the professional category came from Ogilvy, Banjo and BMF in Sydney. Whilst a Brisbane duo from BCM and Redsuit claimed fourth spot.

They were joined by winners in the student category from Denmark, Canada, U.S.A, Sweden and Russia.

Says Brendan Graham, co-founder, Young Glory: “Young Glory is truly a global competition, but I think Australia’s dominance this year reflects the flexibility Australian creatives develop in the industry, working nimbly across many brands and many types of projects.

“Above all though, Young Glory is a program that rewards work ethic, and this season’s winners demonstrated that in spades.”
