RSPCA NSW has launched a donation drive via new agency Saatchi & Saatchi, Sydney, the agency’s first work since being appointed to the pro bono account back in June.
Part of the campaign includes two touching animated spots, one tale from a dog’s point of view, the other, from a cat’s point of view.

I love this; its simplicity, the way it resists unnecessary sentiment, and it’s understated production values.
Well done guys, may you never be homeless, hungry, or thirsty.
Yeah I like the simplicity too, it works really well. I wasn’t to sure about a few of the lines ‘sores’ etc but nah in fairness it’s a good job for a good cause especially at this time of year. Good stuff guys
Brilliant creative work, well done S&S, this really does highlight the plight of animals, especially around peak abandonment times of year like school holidays. It’s a shame that smaller welfare charities can’t afford this style of creative work to raise funds, as the smaller charities desperately need support. The RSPCA still have one of the highest kill rates of any animal shelter in Australia, regularly block smaller rescues from taking in the animals they put to sleep and have approx $17M in the bank. Donating to animal rescue is essential to help our furry friends who cannot help themselves. Donating to the right charities is essential. We foster animals who would otherwise be euthanised at our own cost and chose our group based on shared views toward the euthanasia of healthy animals
Indulgent, manipulative, and no one is going to donate just to see how these badly-told stories play out.
Brilliant creative work???????
You cannot be serious.
Talk about overstatement…hilarious.
Its sweet and soft.
In the battle for the charity dollar….i’m not sure it cuts it.
I hope it does….. but i think it won’t raise heaps.
At all.
I like them a lot. Well done!
What a load of rubbish, seriously i can’t believe that this has come out of S&S, my how the mighty have fallen.
I think it would have been more moving to show a real story.
The style allows me to remove myself from what really happening.
Saw this video a while back.
The reality is more moving than fiction.

Rip off of the talking pig radio ad (about having the intelligence of a 5 year old), just done really poorly.
What’s happening down at the Rocks? Nobody having fun anymore? 6 months for this, AND it’s pro bono?
As a dog owner and lover I find this totally uninvolving. It lacks any emotion, is very poorly executed and not motivating . I will be giving my donation to Monica’s Doggie Rescue for sure.
Can’t even nail a pro bono spot and as we know, these are the creative opportunities. Yet another attempt by Saatchis that has failed disamally.
ECD needs to smell the coffee.
Beautiful story 2:45….
But even something lateral like this?
I freaking love this:
