Look Out Larry! Graham Nunn launches his second children’s book for the iPad
Graham Nunn, who was chairman and ECD at FNL for 23 years, is launching the follow-up to his iPad children’s book, Lazy Larry Lizard, in time for the launch of the iPad2.
Called Look Out Larry!, it’s longer, has more animation and more interaction than the first book, plus there’s a separate game, Larry’s Memory Match. It sells for A$4.99.
Lazy Larry Lizard was the No.1 book app in the Australian iTunes Store in June 2010.
Nunn worked with the same team as on Lazy Larry Lizard with credit to Red Cartel who did the animation, including Kim Neale on illustration, AudioPost on sound and Michael Baltaks for the programming.
The release is being promoted via a 30-second trailer on YouTube.
There’s also more information on the Wasabi Productionswebsite, which he set up to develop children’s books for the iPad. The book is available on iTunes here.
“If anyone in agency land is thinking of developing apps of their own,” said Nunn, “I’m more than happy to share with them what I’ve learned. Contact details are on my Website.”
