Three AFI noms for Jungleboys’ Trent O’Donnell; two noms for The Guild’s Emma Freeman

Trent O’Donnell’s Review With Myles Barlow Series 2 is on track to repeat last year’s successes with three AFI nominations – Best Comedy, Best Screenplay and Best Comedy Performance.

O’Donnell has also just directed a new black ABC comedy series Laid which will air in 2011.

He is now back doing TVC work via Sydney-based Jungleboys, including the recent Telstra campaign for 3 Drunk Monkeys.

Emma Freeman from The Guild has been nominated for two AFI awards for Best Direction, one for Hawke and one for Tangle. This makes her two of the four nominations for this category.
