Two writers?
Who wrote the headline and who wrote the parenthetical?
Ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Tacky.
that’s the best you could do? i prefer the new york post headline that was above a shot of the bloke with his mistress: ‘he’s all mine’. that’s gold in the pun department.
Sharp and shit at the same time… ok
COULD BE A CAXTON?
got nothing on the ‘its good. buy some.’ id love that one in my book. well done guys.
Could be just cack?
Sorry, only joking re the cack comment. Don’t mind the ad at all actually.
12.51pm
JEALOUS MUCH?
This “undermines” what the Chilean miners went through, every Juan of them.
cheap crap
3.46, see 3.14
About 14 years old much?
Could only have been improved by a shot of two naked chilean birds on the ad blowing soap bubbles.
Maybe a third headline, like ‘how ya gunna dig yer way outta this one eh?’ or ‘so who’s gonna get the shaft?’
Or even something about ‘milking’ the situation (and the two birds).
I’ll stop now, as it’s terrible.
Mine your manners Mary
This would have rocked in 1982.
Shame this has nothing to do with the product or brand. Waste of time Marketforce.
You’re quite wrong, 8:41. The mine story reference has plenty to do with the brand in that it nicely executes the MAN UP proposition – with both the bravery and the mistress. As far as the product goes, well, there’s even a nice little phonetic tie-in there, too, with ‘Chill’ and ‘Chile’ which I suspect may have been a pathway to the idea. And on top of that, it’s just great topical. What more do you want? Geez, hard markers some of you guys.
Ho ho ho. ha ha ha.
It’s an ad encouraging men to fuck around.
If I was a feminist my tits would be in a twist.
6:54 PM, you punny bastard.
man up.
never seen that before.
and as a bourbon swilling, cigar smoking, testosterone filled piece of leather complete with shite grammar, i take offense to brands telling me to man up.
i’m man enough for all your ladies.
and your daughters.
