… and the gold award for best client list goes to… Badjar melbourne!
I’ve only heard and seen good things from Michael Knox. Well deserved.
Have they dropped the Badjar name completely now?
Well done Knoxy!
Champion!
“We’ve got a fantastic bunch of passionate and talented folk here eager to do some great things. We hold possibly the best client list in the country.”
Pfft!
Sorry to rain on your rhetoric but the ‘talented folk’ and ‘best client list’ would be at Clems and GPY&R. That’s why they do the best work.
9:14 PM
There are plenty of passionate and talented people who don’t work at Clems or Patts.
And conversely, there are plenty who do.
End.
So, are you as ECD allowed to enter awards?
When you’re ECD you don’t need to enter awards. Awards are for those climbing the greasy pole, not for those at the top.
Come on Knoxy, what’s with the old photo – doing a Sean Cummins?
Surely you can pull a favour and get a new one, didn’t take you for the vain type.
talented folk? So talented too good to mention.
Is this guy related to Bernard Fanning?
He looks like him but with a bit more condition.
Onya Knoxy…well deserved.
Hey 9:14, good point.
They had part of Fosters, a dream client and lost it. To Droga. A creative agency.
So does that mean the clients that want good work up and left for a higher creative product?
Then the quote should be,
‘We hold possibly the best client list that want wallpaper creative, in the country.”
The AAMI add just came onthe TV, ha ha ha. WOW great client – great work.
Well done.
Wait a minute! He just spoke fondly of the people he works with and then of the clients. This is different indeed. Hope they do well. Good luck.
The agency that every wants to get out of rather than into.
Onya Knoxy ya dirty bugger…no more booze and skins at lunch for you now.
First job should be to freshen up the ‘What about me’ work for AAMI.
I think we’ve all seen the main ad enough now, and the lip-synch miming problem in the follow up is just annoying and amateurish.
He needs to get his press relases edited. “Wrapped?” As in up in pretty paper with a bow around him or did he mean “wrapt?”
isn’t it ‘rapt’ 9:00 PM?
@9:00
Looks like you need to get your comments edited. The word you wanted is ‘rapt’ (meaning: ecstatic) not ‘wrapt’ – which is only the archaic form of the past participle ‘wrapped’ as in ‘She’s dead, wrapped in plastic’.
And since we’re on spelling, it’s ‘press releases’ not ‘relases’. Whilst I’m sure THAT was just a typo, I’ve got a hunch the other one wasn’t.
It is 9.21. Should check for typos in comments before posting/casting stones.
Does anyone know any of the creative staff and what awards they’ve won?
Well done Knoxy. About time.
I think they’ve had finalists in the direct mail awards. Ogilvy One. Not sure.
WTF is with the spelling police? Do you think these people type out their own releases??? If so, you’re clearly too junior to even comment on this blog. Now get back to work…..
I heard he’s leaving.
We live in a world that has words. And those words need to be guarded by people who have brains. Who’s gonna do it? YOU, 1:00 PM? …You have the luxury of not knowing what we know.
So who are the Creative Directors? Or is he managing the the whole shabang autocratically?
4:48.
I heard he left after they lost Crown lager.
5:08. shut up! No one gives a shit.
Mr Knox, now that you’re a big shot, please for the sake of the poor people in real people land, make some new AAMI ads – that stuff is so dog.
Well done Knoxy. Congratulations.
