Zoë Hawkins joins Special Australia in Melbourne as Group Creative Director

Special in Melbourne has further bolstered its creative leadership with the appointment of Zoë Hawkins as group creative director.
Hawkins joins the agency alongside Russel Fox, whose appointment was announced on CB earlier this month.
Hawkins brings over 15 years of global experience to the role, having worked across five countries and on a diverse range of clients and platforms. Her career includes full-time and freelance creative roles at Colenso BBDO in Auckland, Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam and Portland, BBC Creative, AKQA, and stints in Shanghai and London.
At Wieden+Kennedy, she contributed to major campaigns for Nike, Heineken, Booking.com, and Powerade, and helped launch P&G’s Camay in China with a music video that aired on MTV Asia. Her Nike Running campaign, Game of Go, created during a freelance stint at W+K Portland, picked up three Bronze Lions at Cannes.
Hawkins has also worked across Levi’s, Westpac, Burger King, and Frucor Beverages during her time at Colenso BBDO, and has written for Dior, The Brooklyn Brothers, and Mazarine Paris in freelance roles.
She will work across Special’s client portfolio, with a focus on creative development and mentoring emerging talent alongside Fox.
