Youngbloods NSW celebrates State of Origin win and a fjälkinge successful strategy event

The one stop shop for effectiveness hosted top shelf panellists including Jnr CSO and founder Ryan O’Connell, Innocean CSO Giorgia Butler Initiative chief strategy and product officer Chris Colter and Ogilvy CSO Fran Clayton.
The dynamic among the four industry leaders was brilliant. Each panellist had their own set of arrows they’d followed, from starting out as a reporter to working in the mail room, leading them to where they are today. These unique experiences made for interesting discussions.
The conversation covered burning questions, including…
Is creative wear-out a myth?
Are creativity and effectiveness the same?
Should we avoid the words brave and dangerous?
How do you ensure measurement is part of the process?
The panellists shared insights covering everything from measuring effectiveness, getting to better work with clients to finding inspiration (pro tip: enjoy being observant, people-watch as much as you can. Put your phone down and just look).

Says Eliza Millett, Youngbloods panel co-host and fellow strategist: “I didn’t want the panel to end (though State of Origin was calling!). There’s so much more to unpack, but with a solid event blueprint in place, I see more events like this to come. We certainly set a high bar with Giorgia, Colts, Ryan and Fran all joining us for our first panel!”
Says Emma Debus, panel co-host and fellow strategist; “The panel candidly sharing both their effective campaigns and ones that didn’t achieve what they sought out to, provided young strategists in the room with both reassurance and hope.

“A big thank you to Innocean for hosting and allowing Youngbloods NSW to set up shop.”
