Wunderman names Brent Clarke head of digital
Brent Clarke, the founder and MD of independent digital agency BACK Creative, has been appointed head of digital at Wunderman, Sydney.
Clarke began his career as a creative and developed into digital strategy, allowing him to successfully integrate online communications into a wide range of integrated campaigns, including multi-regional developments.
He has worked across many business sectors on major brands including ING, ANZ, IFSA, Motorola and Sony Ericsson, Becks, Contours, Alphapharm and Clinique.
Wunderman managing director Jo Lloyd said Clarke’s appointment signalled the agency’s commitment to building a superior and effective digital capability: “Clients are looking for leadership in digital and Wunderman globally has an awesome digital offering. Brent’s appointment will enable us to show the local market exactly how it’s done”.

Without wishing to sound disrespectful, most Heads of Digital I have encountered have been a total waste of space.
