I thought D5 were doing a really great and authentic job on this stuff
until I saw that same chinese woman actor that Woolies have used before, that and the faux real docco. Feels contrived now and unauthentic.
Woolworths must have so much money to splash around.
Lets do a prawn ad that will fix Coles and our sales problem. Great idea.
No wonder they’re slowly loosing market share.
Middle of the road D5
What! No writer/art director credits?
9 planners deep. Now that’s how you do it. Watch out möbius. Classic D5 genius.
Smells like a dead prawn. Very dated in every way right down to the 15 year old nod to ‘aren’t we oh so clever’ kitch art direction.
Getting more view on the UTube than most ads! Be honest. PPL love a Cliché!
Great spot, beautifully shot and funny. Nice one.
Had me at prawn free! Classic
Man you guys are serious haters of D5. I think this is a great ad, punters will love it! I love the ham king, such a sweet truth.
Beautifully shot Amy…brilliant spots! Well done D5, the campaign just keeps on getting better.
Classic guys, nice and kooky! Can’t believe these are Woolies ads. Great stuff.
Have to admit it Droga are definitely doing way better work on Woolies since the business changed hands. It’s not award worthy yet but it certainly makes you laugh and want more.
Best retail work in Australia!
Nice work guys.
I really do hope this new Woolies work changes Coles advertising. I could murder the creator of that down down annoying garbage, even my kids hate it!
Love, love, love!
D5 may have killed VBs “for a hard earned thirst” but they’ve certainly put the “fresh” back into Woolworths.
I really like these, especially the other long form ham spot, funny as! Even my folks love them.
“prawn this way!” my 12 year old daughter got it before I did. Great spot.
Really nice D5.
Beautiful and genuinely funny.
Toughest client in Australia and the work is better than every rival brand not to mention hundreds of others. Hats off to ya droga.
A campaign that’s definitely sticking around. My kids even asked to shop at Woolies.
Still loving the music.
I liked the original stuff more. This and the ham spot are really contrived.
Nicely done…consumers will love them. Surely there’s more to come?
Best retail advertising in Oz.
Refreshing stuff for a tired old behemoth.
Ham spot was great. Don’t feel these are contrived at all except for the potential cheese family shots in the end.
Born and Prawn sound quite similar !!111!
Wow, lots of Droga posts here.
Hammy not Kooky. Cheesy not funny. Dated not fresh.
How Refreshing !
A standout spot rises above the cesspool of mediocrity. I love this Campaign.
that’s bad
Having worked on Woolies for my sins, hats off to D5 on pushing a tough brand into more interesting territory.
love prawns… and I like that!
love these ads and the next installment “man from Pav’. great to see the kids mucking around in it!
