Boutique Brisbane-based post-production studio, xoPost, has officially opened bringing together picture and sound craft with heart, humour and an uncompromising commitment to doing things right.

Founded by long-time collaborators, industry specialists and good friends Trelise Blade (above right) and Mike Lange (above left), xoPost combines personal connections with creative clarity to deliver great stories, strong partnerships, and standout work. Both founders come with deep industry roots, having worked most recently at the iconic Cutting Edge, which closed last month after decades of shaping Australia’s post production landscape.

“Cutting Edge was more than a workplace – it was family,” says Blade. “The closure was tough, but our love for the clients made the decision clear: we wanted to keep creating with them every day, while pushing ourselves to evolve.”

xoPost is stepping in at the perfect time with a fresh, flexible alternative to meet the demands of the rapidly changing industry.

“We’re not trying to recreate what was,” Lange says. “We’re building what’s needed now, with heart, hustle and a whole lot of passion.”

xoPost offers the full suite of post services – offline editing, sound design and mix, colour grading and online finishing – and is already firing on all cylinders with a lineup of exciting national projects.

“We’re passionate about building something nimble and personal,” says Lange. “It’s about creating a studio that’s as approachable as it is precise and professional.”
