PJoel1.jpgVoodoo Interactive has appointed former BCS Technologies programme manager Demetrio Gil as managing director.

Gil takes over the position from Adrian Britton, senior project manager and director, who stepped back last year momentarily to pursue a professional cliff diving career in Mexico and discover himself on a soul finding journey.

Gil, who has a production, accounts and strategy background will be responsible for the overall delivery of online marketing client projects, pushing to expand digital clients capabilities, SEO and analytics.

He’ll have accountability for delivering projects, day to day running of the digital agency and creation of relationships with creative agency partners, while keeping up with social media advertising, communications agencies, and innovators in the industry.

Gil wants to work with creative agencies on quality leading innovative projects.

He explains: “So when you come to us we will be able to help your customer with all their digital needs, we want to use old technologies in a new exciting way, and want to help organisations to use their digital media innovatively.”

Voodoo’s marketing aspirations reflect this, with a drive to deliver best-practice, interactive mobile, multimedia and full service online digital communications in Australia. They are confident that Dom’s experience and capabilities will assist them in taking this to the next level at Voodoo Interactive.
