Campaign Brief 272.pngAs reported in CB in February, Vince Lagana has returned to Sydney and joined Leo Burnett as a creative director after a year and  half at Goodby, Silverstein and Partners, San Francisco.

Says Leo Burnett Sydney’s chief creative officer, Andy DiLallo: “It gives me great pleasure to add Vince to the ranks.  He is unquestionably one of the best talents in the industry today.”

While at Goodby Lagana worked as an associate creative director on some of the agency’s biggest accounts, including Nintendo, Chevrolet, Adobe, Google Plus and Hewlett Packard.

Prior to this he spent many years at Saatchi and Saatchi Sydney, becoming one of its most awarded creatives.

In 2010-11 alone he won five gold lions at Cannes, three gold at the Spikes and a D&AD pencil for his Toyota Border Security campaign, Saatchi Sydney’s most awarded campaign ever.

“Vince’s creative pedigree and track record speak for themselves. He is one of the most gifted

creatives in the industry. I am delighted he is joining Leo Burnett Sydney,” said Mark Tutssel,

chief creative officer of Leo Burnett Worldwide. “Vince is joining at an exciting time. This year

Sydney catapulted into the Top 10 Creative Agencies in the World, ranking 7th, and is primed

for monumental success in the future.”

DiLallo added: “I look forward to seeing what surprises he and his new partner, Grant McAloon, will have in store for us. It isn’t often you get to pair such outstanding talents together. As a matter of fact, I think I’m going to start calling them the Avengers. It truly is a great day for Leo’s.”
