VANDAL leads the Australian pack at finalist stage of the AEAF Awards with 11 finalist nominations
VANDAL has led the Australian pack at the shortlist stage of this year’s global AEAF Awards with a whopping 11 finalist nominations followed by Fin Design + Effects, Heckler and Motionlab with four finalist nominations and Alt.VFX with three.
Scoring two finalist nominations each is Collider, Cadre Pictures and University of Technology Sydney, whilst Unlisted, Goodman Brothers, Pixel Melbourne, Mighty Nice, Unbound, Chello, Studio 3AM, Charles Sturt University and Swinburne Living Lab have scored one finalist nomination each.
The AEAF (Animation and Effects Awards Festival) sees the industry’s best VFX, animation, motion, post and new media studios come together to celebrate international work from across the world.
Complementing the full range of VANDAL’s creative, production, design, VFX, animation, experiential and new media offering, the 11 finalist nominations span across multiple categories, include commercials VFX, live event installations and projections, web viral, augmented reality / VR, education and infographics, idents and stings broadcast. Nominated projects include work done for The Iconic, Koala, Woolworths, BBC First, Mirvac and more.

The AEAF announcement comes hot off the press as VANDAL was crowned #1 Production Company in Australasia 2023 by Campaign Brief’s ‘THE WORK’, cementing its reputation as one of Australia’s most innovative creative, production and post-production studios.
