Twisties, soaring high above Crown Sydney, painted the skies with a special tribute to Taylor Swift on Thursday afternoon via VaynerMedia. As Taylor geared up for her highly anticipated Sydney leg of the Australian Eras Tours, Twisties was proud to show its unwavering support in a truly iconic fashion.
Emblazoned across the sky, the word “Twifties” celebrated the fusion of Aussies’ adoration for Taylor Swift and the beloved Twisties chip brand – uniting two cultural icons under the Australian sky.
Says Vandita Pandey, Chief Marketing Officer ANZ at PepsiCo: “Combining two icons together in the sky, Twisties is showing love for a fellow icon as Taylor prepares to launch her highly anticipated Sydney shows across the next four nights.”

The fact that most of the comments are confused about who it’s for, says it all. Waste of time and money.
I don’t think this is a confusion or a waste of money. People on social getting to speak to “the brand” themselves as well as creating a buzz about the product…… is never a waste of money. I BET MORE FOLKS PURCHASED BECAUSE OF THE CAMPAIGN. If they don’t today I bet the next time they see the product they will remember the social Interaction. That’s brand memory. What’s the Roi of your consumer remembering you answering them on social media?
a completely bewildering stunt that connected no one with anything.
welcome to the chat, person responsible.
@ Carly, yeah sure. No branding. No buzz about the brand. No ROI
Comically bad idea
This has the energy of a bratty teenager doing graffiti in the bathroom during English class.
Using skywriting to connect with teenage girls in 2024
and some in-house fake posts. Money well spent.
And not a single person in the comments knew wtf was going on.
Epic fail.
calling them ‘Swisties’ might have got the link a bit closer. Epic fail and a waste of airline fuel.
But I don’t get the confusion. Twisties + Swifties = Twifties. Not revolutionary or interesting idea, but I can’t say I thought any of the Swift stuff was good. Surely this one’s not that difficult to understand?
Yikes
