Tourism and Events QLD says Queensland is ‘Good to Go’ in new national campaign via Rumble

With Queensland borders opening for interstate travel to all states except Victoria from July 10, Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) has released a new campaign to inspire national travellers to visit. The campaign was created in partnership with TEQ’s new master brand creative agency, Rumble.

The “Good to Go” campaign ran first in Queensland before being adapted for a national audience. TEQ’S Chief Executive Officer Leanne Coddington said the core message of the campaign is that Queensland’s tourism industry is open, ready to welcome visitors and is following COVID safe practices. “We know people can’t wait to come to Queensland and experience our unique tourism offering. Queensland has such wonderful and diverse experiences and “Good to Go” is the perfect message, uniting our regions and our operators.”

The campaign again features Queensland musicians Busby Marou, who fronted the incredibly successful Beautiful One Day, Perfect the Next relaunch. Rumble co-founder and creative partner Nancy Hartley said, “Thomas and Jeremy epitomise the Queensland personality, so genuinely warm and enthusiastic. Travel restrictions during filming meant they were at opposite ends of the state, so we adapted that situation to help show the depth of experiences here. The tactical campaign showcases that sense of freedom we’re all longing for.”

The duo was again directed by Jonathan Nyquist via Taxi Films. The campaign is now live and will run across television, print, OOH, digital, radio and social.
