The Works expands operations to Melbourne as RXP Services opens Sydney Experience Hub
Leading digital services consultancy RXP has announced The Works will expand its operations to Melbourne following a number of joint wins and increasing integration between the two businesses. The announcement was made at the launch of RXP’s Sydney Experience Hub which has been designed to foster co-creation and increased collaboration with clients.
The Works, which was acquired by ASX listed RXP in August last year, will establish a presence in the Victorian capital during the first half of the year, based at RXP’s headquarters in Queen St.
The move follows a series of wins secured by RXP and The Works in Melbourne and Sydney over recent months and ongoing collaboration between the two businesses since the acquisition which has bolstered RXP’s end-to end digital customer experience capabilities.
Says Ross Fielding, CEO at RXP: “The integration of The Works is progressing very well and since coming together we’ve secured a number of opportunities to bring their strategic creativity, brand, CX and digital expertise to our existing clients, as well as working with our team to provide digital transformation services to new clients. As a result, expanding The Works’ operations to Melbourne makes sense and will continue to deliver benefits to RXP and our partners going forward.”
RXP is one of Australia’s biggest digital transformation consultancies working across offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Hobart and Hong Kong. It operates six practice groups delivering high level services for tier one clients including business analysis and intelligence, user experience, design, data analytics, CRM and workforce enablement.
Says Damian Pincus, co-founder and creative partner at The Works: “Like many successful Sydney agencies we’ve looked at opening in Melbourne many times, but the timing has never been quite right. It is a hugely important market and now with the backing of RXP, which is headquartered there, the opportunities for us are significantly increased. Our staff have been travelling to Melbourne regularly and that will continue as we build our presence on a more permanent basis.”
In addition to The Works’ announcement, RXP has officially opened its Sydney Experience Hub, following on the launch of its Melbourne Hub last year.
Created to enhance digital customer experiences for its clients across multiple disciplines, the specialist centre which sits alongside RXP’s Sydney offices in Margaret St, includes workspaces for ideation and creation, a UX workshop where ideas can be tested, a specialist research room and a dedicated multimedia event space.
Says Fielding: “At the Melbourne Hub we’ve created an environment where our team works collaboratively with clients on some of their most important business issues. It has delivered significant results and as part of our Sydney expansion I’m delighted to offer our partners here the same opportunities to co-create, research, test, learn and develop innovative digital customer experiences in a fully equipped and dedicated space.”
