Says Motteram: “There’s a lot of talent within this roster that I’m really excited to represent. We’re an ambitious team that will be out there showcasing what we bring to the table.”
Furmie joins the team having recently released his internationally acclaimed Sci-Fi feature film, Terminus. After stints in South East Asia and South Africa, Furmie returns to the domestic market with a strong focus on creating work with global appeal.
Says Furmie: “This is a team that is driven to create work that turns heads and changes minds. We’re throwing our hat in the ring and are ready to fight for the work.”
Richard Vilensky’s comedic mind and creative rigour has seen him grow an impressive body of commercial work over the last decade. Recently he received story development funding from Screen Australia for his upcoming feature film titled The Renovator’s Dream.
Says Vilensky: “Fill the well. With faith, flexibility and collaboration, together we will fight bland.”
David Barker has over 15 years experience and developed a reputation for performance driven work, in-camera effects and post-heavy visual treatments and has the awards to back this up.
Says Barker: “Our aim will always be to bring life to our agency partner’s vision and we’ll all work tirelessly to deliver this.”
TAZER also represents award-winning animation directors Beto & Nanda who were recently nominated for Best Animation at Anima Mundi Festival for their work on the recent Windsor’s Chips campaign and New York based Aussie director Laura Scrivano who drew attention for her production The Language of Love a monologue film about a young man coming to terms with his sexuality. Most recently Scrivano directed the award-winning interpretive dance film Shadow/Self for fashion designer, Bianca Spender.
