The Post Lounge reignites shortform with senior hires, national footprint and Company 3 colour firepower

The Post Lounge has reinvigorated its shortform arm, adding two heavyweight hires and doubling down on premium delivery for commercials and branded content. Mollie Myerson joins as Client Partnerships and Senior Producer and Matt Bennett takes on Senior Editor and Creative Supervisor.

The duo bolsters The Post Lounge’s in-house creative bench across grade, online, motion design and sound — backed by facilities in multiple states and a new site on the Gold Coast. Recent shortform credits include campaign work with brands including ING Direct, Subway, TAFE QLD and Darrell Lea.

The expansion comes as the company enters a new era of creative optimism and growth under CEO Kurt Royan and COO Georgia Woodward, who joined the company in January. Together, the pair are bringing fresh energy, new perspectives and a clear focus on premium, cost-effective creative solutions grounded in TPL’s historic post-production craft.

The move builds on The Post Lounge’s 46-year history in TVC post — a story that started in Brisbane and now spans Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Through a strategic international partnership with Company 3 — whose recent commercial credits include Ritual Identities for Prada, More Power, Just in Case for Ford Ranger, and After Dark for Nike — The Post Lounge connects clients to an exceptional global colourist roster for high-end spots while keeping production nimble and cost-aware.

“Shortform is where speed, craft and brand outcomes collide. We are lifting our offering again, pairing top-tier talent with an agile, meet-the-market mindset,” says Royan. “Mollie and Matt are the perfect additions to our already stellar in-house team, and add horsepower where it counts — in relationships, editorial leadership, and delivery.”

Myerson joins after 13 years with Campaign Brief, bringing a wealth of industry connection and a clear focus on client outcomes.

“My goal is simple: make it seamless for agencies and brands to land great work,” says Myerson. “You get premium production care, beautiful facilities and serious finishing options, without the drama on budget or timeline.”

Bennett returns to a studio base after several years freelancing, prior to that at Alt.VFX.

“I’ve long admired Kurt and The Post Lounge for doing post the right way: no-nonsense, purposeful and completely creative-first,” says Bennett. “That combination creates a great client experience and a genuinely talent-driven workplace — exactly where I want to build ambitious work.”
