Some reckon the best part of the AWARD night last night in Sydney was the video that played during the awards presentation, which was created by DDB Sydney and Fin Design & Effects with photos supplied by Campaign Brief.

Really well done I thought, loved how the idea flowed from the call for entries campaign and they made it relevant to the night. Well deserved win.
Funny. Hats off.
Come on. Surely the drawn out ceremony was better. Or the over-zealous secruity.
The warm, undrinkable champagne and wine was a brilliant touch. The packs of inedible food under the chairs had the guests in raptures. And herding 600 people into an outdoor area with a capacity for 300, at arguebly Sydney’s worst restaurant, pure genius. Finally, the $250 price tag – gold.
Ah 11:07… obviously you didn’t pick up an AWARD…. or anything else.
I had a magical night.
Very funny video and I loved the PR photo awards, no one was safe. Hilarious.
The ‘promote yourself’ thing is funny but does anyone else think its a bit fucked that the call for entries for an award show wins an award at that show?
Is this why clients think we’re award obsessed tossers?
Winning one award for that creative is acceptable. Its when an award entry campaign like say ADMA 2008 which won about 7 or 8 ADMA gongs, that’s just embarrassing.
It’s a well deserved win. We all know there was a brief for it and a tough client if you think about the people that head up the AWARD committee. Plus if was probably done with next to no budget. Well done to the team that worked on it.
After looking through the website I must say grats to Animal Logic for the Comcast spot, I didn’t know it was from you guys and I was my fav spot from D&AD too.
Yeah, D&AD and a Silver at AWARD…….
There’s a few like that but hey, that’s what judges are for.
I have only get to know about this campaign (PR phototography) after it received the Cannes Prize 2010. The job is fantastic and deserved gold medal.
I am very interested in receiving the Modern Creative´s Guide to PR Photography. How can I get it?
