The Mint Partners moves to iconic Building 121 Castlereagh

Culture-led creative communications agency The Mint Partners has announced its relocation to Sydney’s CBD at the prestigious 121 Castlereagh Street, Sydney. The move marks a significant milestone in the next chapter of MINT’s continued evolution in imagining the next chapter of Australian culture.
Says Genevieve Taubman, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Mint Partners: “Sydney is experiencing a renaissance, driven by the completion of several transformational developments that are cementing the city’s place as a thriving global hub. 121 Castlereagh is where luxury retail, tourism, and hospitality intersect, and we saw an opportunity to move into the vibrant heart of the action. We’re excited to be closer to our clients and their customers—engaging with them in their environment, every day.”
The newly completed Cbus Property development – known as 121 Castlereagh – is part of the redevelopment of the iconic former David Jones menswear store into a unique and modern mixed-use destination featuring high-end retail housing the largest Chanel Maison in the Southern Hemisphere, premium grade commercial space and a limited collection of luxury residential apartments.
The commercial space offers state of the art work space, elevated amenity and a modern collaborative environment to interact with clients and customers. MINT will occupy one of the larger secured office spaces within The Commons, boasting breathtaking views across Hyde Park, St Mary’s Cathedral to Sydney Harbour and beyond.
Says Taubman: “At MINT we are proud to work with businesses who look to progress our culture and reimagine the cities we live and work within. 121 Castlereagh has been developed by Cbus Property, a long-standing client partner of MINT, who have reinvented the original 1938 heritage building.
Over the last five years we have partnered with Cbus Property to deliver strategic integrated communications and PR activity to support the journey of one of Sydney’s most distinguished transformation projects and we couldn’t be more delighted to take up this rare opportunity to relocate as we herald in a new era for the agency.”
Acclaimed architect, Richard Frances Jones, fjcstudio, has restored the art deco icon into a luxury mixed-use development comprising 98 luxury residential apartments (developed by Cbus Property) that appear to float above a heritage podium along with premium-grade office space and an extension of Westfield Sydney’s luxury retail offering (developed by Scentre Group).
Spread across six generous levels, the work spaces are connected by a dynamic central atrium that maximises natural light and inspires connectivity. 121 Castlereagh boasts flexible and contiguous floor plates and direct connection into Westfield Sydney.
Says Miranda Bryce, Managing Director of The Mint Partners: “We have partnered with The Commons, at their latest and most prestigious offering as they continue to reimagine the future of working spaces and how we use them.”

MINT has been a tenant of The Commons in Cremorne since 2024 and has seen a huge benefit of the creative workspace and amenity from state-of-the-art facilities to invaluable new connections built with like-minded businesses.
Says Bryce: “Our new location will foster more face-to-face meetings and opportunities to collaborate with our clients and many of our friends in the media and partner agencies.”
The Commons offers a plethora of meeting and event spaces that will be available to both the agency and clients, from informal meeting locations, formal board rooms and auditorium style spaces all featuring the latest tech and in-house catering.
The MINT team will have access to creative purpose designed workspaces and end of trip facilities, with greater connectivity for easy access. The Commons boasts opportunities for the team at MINT to grow their network, with a rich program of activities encompassing culinary, wellness and cultural events.
MINT will continue to showcase leading luxury brands in a purpose-built brand showcase including Celine, Valentino, Canada Goose and Charles and Keith and look forward to creating a new platform for their client portfolio to connect with their customer on a regular basis in the heart of the city.
The full team will be on site at 121 Castlereagh from 10 September.
