The inventive Jodie James joins Film Construction’s stills roster
Film Construction is on a roll, adding more photographic power to its blossoming stills roster with the mighty talents of Jodie James. Film Construction will represent James in Australia and New Zealand.

With a background in marketing gained from working in the USA, UK, Ireland and Switzerland, James has a secret weapon, a deep understanding of concepts and the power of ideas. James knows how to take a brief and infuse it with unexpected elements that leave a lasting impression.
Says James: “My goal is for a hidden narrative to be discovered beyond the initial visual impact in my work. I try to empower viewers with the opportunity to embark on a visual treasure hunt, weaving their own threads of meaning while finding resonance within the existing narrative.”
Blessed to be based in Central Otago, considered one of the most breathtaking shoot locations worldwide, James maximises her backyard vistas for local and international clients. And effortlessly handles assignments across both of Aotearoa’s main islands.
