The International ANDY Awards launches call for entries campaign ‘The Lie Detector Film’ via R/GA

The ADVERTISING Club of New York, one of the industry’s leading professional organizations representing the advertising, media, marketing, and ad-tech industries has released its new campaign film, in partnership with renowned creative agency, R/GA, “The Lie Detector Film”.

 

This amusing film includes seven creative leaders within the industry, hooked up to a lie detector to answer questions around the ANDYs regarding their agency’s work and/or submission process.

The film debuts ahead of the International ANDY awards entries closing date, March 1. Industry Leaders in the film include:

●  Susan Fowler Credle – Global Chair, Global CCO, FCB

●  Bianca Guimaraes – Partner & ECD, Mischief

●  Chris Beresford-Hill – NA President and CCO, Oglivy

●  Tom Murphy – CCO, NA, Wunderman Thompson

●  PJ Pereira – CCO and Co-Founder, Pereira O’Dell

●  Jaime Robinson – Co-Founder and CCO, JOAN Creative

●  Tiffany Rolfe – Global CCO, R/GA

In addition, mentioned in the film campaign, The ANDYs brings a new promise into the entry’s official rules, ‘Win Early, It Pays Off’. Both internal and external research done has shown that 90% of ANDY winners go on to win at other major shows’ like One Show, D&AD and Cannes Lions. This year, the organization is betting on the statistics. Winners of the ANDYs who do not subsequently win at least one other major award in the industry will be granted free entry for 2024.

In parallel, this past November, The AD Club announced its partnership with R/GA as Tiffany Rolfe, global chief creative officer became global jury chair of The International ANDY Awards, in addition to the release of chairman and CEO of R/GA, Bob Greenberg’s Inspiration Series interview, which was created and produced by Rick Boyko, former chief creative officer Ogilvy North America /former director of the VCU Brandcenter in partnership with the Club/ International ANDY Awards.

Says Rolfe: “Winning at the Andys is something all creatives aspire to in their careers. And this film, amusement and all, is meant to showcase that the Andys is where the best ideas are surfaced by the biggest creative leaders in our industry. ANDYs is a predictor for what’s to come in the awards season. And that’s no lie.”
