‘The Hermit Club’ – a monthly event for ad folk working alone or in small indies – kicks off tonight Oct 3, The White Horse, Surry Hills
If you’re used to working in big, busy agencies, working from home, for yourself, or in a small indie can sometimes feel a bit isolating and lonely. Hello ‘The Hermit Club’. A once a month get together for Sydney-based independent advertising and marketing professionals starting tonight Thursday 3rd October.
Hosted at The White Horse in Surry Hills from 6pm onwards, it’s a chance for people to come out of hiding to reconnect, get some fresh perspectives and simply have the chance to do some good old-fashioned networking.
Says Heather Sheen (pictured below), freelance strategist and brand consultant behind the event: “The industry has changed dramatically over the past few years. Yet most industry events still attract a hefty fee that many sole traders and small shops simply don’t have the budget for. This is a chance for people to connect with the industry for nothing more than the price of your beer.”
When: 6pm – 9pm Thursday 3rd October.
Where: The White Horse, 381 Crown St Surry Hills
