As the communications agency for the Australian Greens, Republic of Everyone has been working closely with the party since November 2012, supporting in the development of the party’s communications strategy and delivering key campaign creative throughout the year, at each stage in the lead up to the election.
Says Ben Peacock, founding partner at Republic of Everyone: “The problem with politics is it’s full of politicians. It needs leaders.
“These ads are about standing up for what you believe in. They’re what the election needs.”
The advertisement outlines the Greens’ vision for a more caring Australia and touches on key issue areas, such as higher education and marriage equality.
Says Christine Milne, Australian Greens Leader: “The Australian Greens new election advertisement “Standing Up for What Matters” tells a story that voters want to hear for our nation. Australians are desperate for political leadership on the issues that matter.”

Ah, so it’s exactly the same as the one they did for the gruen transfer, only they’ve changed ‘if you think’ to ‘if you stand’.
‘If you think’ was much better. shame it was wasted as free content for Zapruder.
Apparently the Greens asked for the Gruen transfer ad but the ABC refused.
The lack of environmental issues in the campaign has been damning. With this lot in charge the Franklin dam would have been opposed with nothing more than a shrug.
Wishy washy communication that says nothing the other parties between them aren’t already claiming.
Is there no one in this country who can put together a decent political ad? No matter what your political persuasion, ALL the advertising appears to have been done by blind folded miners underground. Not one decently well produced or written piece of communication amongst all of it. I hope no one is getting paid for any of those ads – they shouldn’t be – it is all shockingly poor communication, put together in a very amateur way.
