The Edison Agency’s Amber Bonney launches new podcast feat. boss women leading big brands
The Edison Agency co-founder Amber Bonney has today launched a new business podcast that gets listeners inside the minds of great Australian brand bosses.
‘Bite Big: Boss Women Leading Big Brands’ unpacks the personal mantras and motivations that have driven leaders’ success, getting under their skin to discover how they keep their cool, dodge bullets, jump through hoops, lead fiercely, fight the good fight and of course – show up as boss women.
Guests range from start-ups and educators to independent hustlers and ASX listed chiefs, with Episode 1 recorded in Tokyo with Ally Doubé, head of marketing at Uber and Uber Eats Japan.
Led by Bonney and The Edison Agency team, the podcast is researched, mastered, written, recorded, designed, produced and engineered by women, for women.
Says Bonney: “After twenty years in an industry where the status quo is male senior leaders, I appreciate that not all women have the skills, confidence or propensity for self-advocating and being seen. So, through the embodiment of my personal mantra ‘bite big and chew like hell’ (and my very loud voice), I hope to share the eclectic stories of great ‘boss women’ in the hope we empower other women to succeed and find their voice.”
‘Bite Big’ is Bonney’s second podcast, her first being ‘SEMI-PRECIOUS’ with her sister which shares how the pair (who are both neurodivergent) have navigated some of life’s trickiest situations.

Massive congrats to both Amber Bonney and Alley Doube! Both absolute legends in the game, I really got so much out of this.
How about just ‘boss’. This feels circa 2021.
The podcast is focusing on female bosses, makes sense to communicate that
Great concept. I have only listened to the first one so far but there where some good takeaways and probably more importantly a whole heap of reality!
The podcast is great! I had some concerns about it being cringey, but the first episode surprised me by being genuinely real, funny, and smart. Kudos ladies!
I want to work for her. Job pls
While the first ep feels like a recruitment campaign for uber. It’s not as sh*t as I thought it would be… both Amber and Ali have brains and don’t appear like the majority robotic arseholes that grace Adland. The copious swearing was an unexpected bonus.
The first episode is exceptional. Rare to hear such authenticity these days. Loved it.
If you’d be keeping up with the cultural zeitgeist you’d know anything to do with “Girlbossing” is incredibly cringe in 2023.
First podcast is genuinely good. Listen to the end. Real and relatable.
Just listened to your podcast. Well done! Usually this type of thing would make me 🤮 but yours didn’t at all. Was awesome 😎
