The Dubs announces new group GM and relocation of social media director to Sydney

andrew_frith_300dpi.jpgDigital engagement agency The Dubs has announced the relocation of social media director, Andrew Frith from the UK to be based permanently at The Dubs Sydney office, as well as the promotion of general manager of The Dubs Australia, Tristan Fawley to group general manager.

 

Frith’s move from the London office, where he has been based for the last eight years, will allow the Sydney office to take advantage of his 20 plus years of experience in the digital arena to provide a more specialised social component to all projects and accounts. 

 

Frith’s experience spans five continents predominately in multi-media, film and video. He was originally based in San Francisco at the time of the first wave of internet businesses.

Says Frith: “In the London office I was the social strategist for our UK basedclients. Moving to our main office in Sydney will allow me to work withour whole client base, providing a larger social offering for The Dubsas a whole.

 

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity of working on new and creativeways of integrating content and audiences online.”

 

Tristan_Fawley.jpgFawley has been at The Dubs for eight years, originally as creative director and for the past four years has been the general manager of The Dubs in Australia.

 

His promotion will see him responsible for the overall companyprofit made up of The Dubs Australia, The Dubs UK and sister digitalfinancial communications agency, The Currency. His promotion is theresult of organic growth of the company.

 

“I am really looking forward to moving the overall group businessforward across Australia and the UK as well as building further linksbetween the offices and growing the business globally,” said Fawley.
