The Brand Agency named Campaign Brief WA Agency of the Year for sixth time in seven years
For the sixth time in 7 years and the ninth time in 15 years The Brand Agency has been named Campaign Brief’s West Australian Agency of the Year. It’s a very dominant and a truly remarkable record by Western Australia’s largest agency. In 2022 the agency continued to impress launching major campaigns for some of Perth’s largest clients and also picking up some nice creative gongs along the way.
This is the 36th time that the Campaign Brief Agency of the Year awards has been handed out. It is not awarded frivolously – with a great deal of time, thought and discussion goes into the decision. This year there were three standout submissions with The Brand Agency edging out excellent submissions from Wunderman Thompson and Block Branding with 303MullenLowe and Rare also impressing.
In 2022 The Brand Agency retained every single one of their clients, in a year when we saw some of the WA industry’s largest clients shift agencies both within the state and to the eastern seaboard.
The Brand also won more new business than other Perth Agency and these wins included numerous advertising clients, but also $1.5M+ annualised revenue delivered from new technology projects with new clients.
Creative performance is always an important consideration in awarding Agency of the Year, and at these Campaign Brief Creative Awards The Brand put up a creditable performance.
Their Road Safety Commission ‘Everyday Journeys’ campaign scored 2 Best of Year awards in the Integrated Campaign and Television Campaign categories and a finalist in Television Single. And work for Foodbank WA continued to stand out scoring 4 Finalists across 4 separate categories.
The Brand Agency also had a busy year – developing and launching three of the biggest integrated campaigns of the year for Tourism WA, RAC and the Road Safety Commission.
Block Branding and Wunderman Thompson also put up strong submissions.
2021 was huge year for Block Branding and they were rewarded at the end of the year as a clear runner-up for the Campaign Brief Agency of the Year award. This year they were again a very serious contender.
In 2022 Block continued their momentum with an incredible 209 jobs logged through the agency. Block’s work for The Avocado Collective was recognised at every show in which it was entered. The campaign earned recognition at: AWARD, AGDA, AdFest, Brand New, Campaign Brief Awards, The Work, The One Show and D&AD,
But The Avocado Collective wasn’t alone. Block picked up accolades for a breadth of work from TVCs to typefaces. In the end, creatively, 2022 turned out to be their winningest year ever. Block also celebrated their 20th year in business – a massive achievement by any measure.
