TAC opens tender for creative agency services

The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) in Melbourne has announced an open tender for its lead creative advertising account, kicking off a competitive procurement process.

The expression of interest (EOI) period begins today and runs until October 18, 2pm. TAC is on the lookout for a full-service advertising agency that can handle strategy, creative development, and production for its road safety campaigns.

To qualify, agencies must be based in Victoria.

Says Jacqui Sampson, head of community, TAC: “Behaviour is a significant contributor to fatal and serious injury crashes on Victorian roads, which is why it’s critical for the TAC to educate and engage with the community through compelling road safety campaigns. This competitive tender will ensure our campaigns continue to draw on Victoria’s best creative thinking and insights.”

The selection process will occur in two stages. Initially, the EOI submissions will help shortlist agencies, which will then be invited to participate in a formal Request for Tender (RFT).
