Sydney indie agency GHO hires former Enigma ECD Peter Ogden for Creative Director role

Following continued growth, independent agency GHO Sydney has hired Peter Ogden as Creative Director. Ogden has held many senior roles, including ECD at independent agency Enigma and stints at BWM Dentsu Sydney, JWT Auckland and DDB Sydney, as well as being an award-winning landscape photographer.

Says Hamish Stewart, Creative Partner at GHO, “With a background in design, art direction, photography and copywriting, Pete brings a wealth of experience to the role. As our work encompasses more and more of the brand experience, his diverse skill set will be invaluable. He epitomises our philosophy, ‘Life’s short. Work with people you like.’”

Says Ogden: “I’m stoked to join GHO. Having worked in a wide range of agencies over the years, from smaller independents to larger networks, I can see that their approach to helping clients navigate uncertainty is truly unique. There’s an infectious sense of momentum about the place that’s great to be a part of.”

Says Eithne McSwiney, Managing Partner: “At GHO, our philosophy is, ‘Work with people you like’. Testament to that is that many of the best people we hire are those we have worked with before. Having worked with Pete previously, I know how talented he is, and I’m looking forward to what’s to come.”

GHO Sydney was recently a finalist for Independent Agency of the Year at the B&T Awards, as well as winning Best Use of Sponsorship and Best Equality Campaign for their CommBank, ‘C’mon Aussie: Revisited’ project. The agency works with a diverse range of clients, including Adobe, Allianz, Aware Super, Breville, CommBank, CommSec, Family Planning NSW, PetSure, and Schroders. Recent wins include Exchange for Change and Diabetes Australia.
