Swyftx inspires Australians to reimagine their futures in ‘Where can crypto take you’ campaign

Following its recent acquisitions of Easy Crypto in New Zealand and brokerage Caleb and Brown, leading Australian cryptocurrency exchange Swyftx has today launched a new major brand campaign “Where can crypto take you”, created entirely in-house.

 

The creative, led by Director Daniel Guerrero, explores the universal feeling of monotony and the longing for change, positioning crypto as a vehicle for pursuing personal aspirations.

“This campaign isn’t just about selling a dream; it’s about acknowledging the reality of our audience’s lives and showing them how we can be the catalyst for their next great beginning,” says Swyftx’s Group Head of Marketing, Caitlin Cordery.

In a departure from the traditional advertising model, Swyftx oversaw the production process in-house, bringing together a team of experienced freelancers and external creatives across four different continents. The shoot took place in Sydney over two days and more than 50 people were involved throughout the process.

Guerrero commented on the unique production process, emphasising the commitment to authentic and immersive visuals: “There was no AI used in the production of this commercial. Real actors, real extras, and artists behind every tool.

“We shot the office sequence on location, and the natural world combined practical elements captured on set with environments built in Unreal Engine, uplifted with Flame and a touch of 3D. The goal was to create something immersive that still felt grounded in the real world.”

The commercial is set to feature across free-to-air broadcast, streaming services such as Kayo, Nine Now, Binge & Paramount Plus, and across Val Morgan’s eastern seaboard cinema network. Accompanying creative will also be showcased across the nation through large and small format digital billboards, street furniture, airports, online publications, podcasts and more.

Set to run for the next 12 months, the campaign’s extensive media distribution is led by Swyftx’s Brand team and managed alongside their partners at Wavemaker ANZ. Ultimately, it aims to solidify Swyftx’s position as the most trusted Australian exchange of choice.

“With current crypto adoption in Australia sitting at 20%, I’m confident this approach will create a powerful and lasting connection with our market, and particularly those who identify as ‘crypto considerers’,” says Cordery.

Ultimately, “Where can crypto take you” is an invitation for Australians to not only consider the future of finance, but their own place within it.
