Swisse launches new campaign in NZ with All Blacks captain Kieran Read via Noisy Beast
Sydney agency Noisy Beast launched a new campaign in New Zealand last week for Swisse Wellness on the cusp of the 2018 international rugby season. The campaign explores a side of Swisse Wellness ambassador, Kieran Read, that only comes out when he’s not busy captaining the New Zealand national rugby team.
Swisse Wellness New Zealand marketing manager, Tineke Madgwick, said the brand was excited to have Read sharing his passion for teamwork with people across the country as part of this new campaign.
Says Madgwick: “Kieran Read is more than a rugby legend. He’s also a father of three who takes on the same challenges as families all over New Zealand. When he doesn’t have his team’s support crew on call, or a stadium of fans to cheer him on, he gets the support he needs from Swisse.”
Noisy Beast managing director, David Brown, said the new commercial highlights Read’s passion to be at his best both on and off the field.
Says Brown: “Kieran is a great ambassador and we’re delighted with the spot and excited about the campaign rolling out over the coming months. The Noisy Beast and Swisse Wellness partnership has a rich and successful history of using Ambassadors. It’s great that we’ve been able to extend that formula to New Zealand.”
Adds Madgwick: “With the help of Noisy Beast, Swisse continues to grow and today we are the No. 1 selling multivitamin brand in New Zealand Pharmacy, as we work towards achieving our mission of making billions of people around the world healthier and happier.”

So sometimes you have to do this sort of ‘low idea’ content style work.
You usually don’t PR it, though.
I’m thinking that if they had a fourth copywriter involved the result might have been better.
