Subvert Music & Sound has launched, founded by renowned composer/sound designer Rafael May and EP Michelle May.

Rafael; a triple LIA winner commercially for Levi’s, Cadbury and SBS, has expanded into feature films. Most recently his work on the critically acclaimed feature; I Am Woman directed by Unjoo Moon, earned him a Best Original Score AACTA nomination. Whilst his work on director Ben Lawrence’s Hearts and Bones scored a Screen Music Nomination for Best Soundtrack Album.

Raf says while continuing to work with groundbreaking feature films, ‘Subvert will focus purely on commercial projects – delivering powerful original music and sound.’
