As part of a daily series Campaign Brief shines the spotlight on the top female executive creative directors and creative directors in Australia…
Lenna Boland is a creative director at Ogilvy, Melbourne
A school teacher in Tasmania, pouring pints of Speckled Hen in Bath, the PA to the director of a blue-chip firm in London. Lenna has had plenty of characters to draw upon in her non-conventional path to becoming a writer.
Since embarking on her advertising career in 2003 she has worked her way up to become a creative director at Ogilvy Melbourne working on TV, print and digital campaigns across a variety of major accounts.
These include the creation of one of Australia’s most iconic love stories, AAMI Insurance’s Rhonda&Ketut, 2014 GOLD winner for Creative Effectiveness at AMES.
There’s also award-winning One Show and AWARD work for the PUMA LOVE RUN activation, as well as major campaigns across a variety of Ogilvy clients, including Myer Department Store, Motorola, McCain Pizza, Melbourne International Festival and Australia Post.
