Sony Mobile launches new James Bond ‘Skyfall’ campaign for its Xperia T phone via iris Worldwide and Ridley Scott Associates
Sony Mobile has launched its new James Bond campaign in the UK for its Xperia T phone. The campaign will be going live in a further 26 markets including Australia via iris Worldwide and produced by Ridley Scott Associates.
The campaign for the Xperia T phone has launched before the premiere of ‘Skyfall’ and is the new official handset for James Bond.
iris Worldwide worked with Ridley Scott Associates and their team of over 100 of Hollywood’s finest directors and producers who have worked on films such as Mission Impossible III and Transformers, and features original assets of the Bond films including an Aston Martin Vantage V12.
Director Joe Carnahan, coordinated stunts including a 40ft vertical drop and a near-miss between a Frauscher speedboat and a 100m trawler. The spot will run in 26 different markets, including UK, USA, Germany, France and Mexico and will be supported by a fully integrated marketing campaign featuring press, outdoor, online and retail.

Rubbish.
Any ad featuring an Aston Martin being driven like it was stolen deserves to sweep the board at Cannes.
Replace ‘mobile phone’ with any other meaningless product tie-in. I’ve seen better from Ice Age.
