Brilliant! And they’re not asking me to ‘Like’ their Facebook page or upload my video to the Specsaver’s website to win free glasses, or follow the Sepcsaver’s Twitter feed or anything else every fool and their client think they have to do to be digital these days. What a relief.
Agree with Mr Analog.
The power of a good TV Commercial.
Nothing beats this medium for brand building.
Nice twist at the end.
Are you guys kidding yourselves? I’m usually super positive but that was kind of painful, No?
Needed Gordon Ramsay going mental. That would have been fun. And it’s not a new idea for the category. Remember the funny English commercial a few years back where the bloke waiting for a bus gets on a large red vehicle – which turns out to be a fire engine? Well I do.
And no dialogue. Really like it.
Why have Gordon Ramsey? Why have Gordon Ramsey say nothing?
Luckily the people who made this ad showed restraint, unlike some commenting on this blog.
To have Ramsay go off his rocker would have been expected… by having him say nothing, leaves a bit to the audiences imagination. Making it far more powerful.
Nice ad… (although I do have to wonder where one would find a sauna next to a restaurant kitchen?)
Twaddle, 9:26. That sort of post-rationalisation could be expected from someone who had something to do with the writing/production of this ad…and then of course you’d have to cover your tracks with the last bit.
this is bad work from a good director.
