Seven News app hits 200,000 downloads
Yahoo!7’s Channel Seven News app has reached more than 200,000 iPhone and iPad downloads and remains in the top position as the number one free iPhone news app, with a four and a half star user rating.
The app launched last month and instantly ranked as the number one iPhone news app.
The app delivers text and video news, integrated photos and GPS targeting to provide localised news updates for all Australian users. It also offers integrated twitter feeds, allowing users to stay up-to-date with the most current information from Australia’s number one news source.
Sue Carter, Head of News for Yahoo!7, said the latest app download figures are an indication of how highly active and engaged the Yahoo!7 audience is, and how many Australians are now turning to digital platforms for their news.
“It’s great to see how many users are downloading our iPhone and iPad app. People are embracing this new way to access the news that they trust,” she said.

@12:39 – Thanks for the tip. Cool app at my favourite price.
How can the channel Seven APP go into a positive st8 line when Abbott talks and when Rudd talks it falls below the line indicating a negative response..I think It is a little bias… Maybe a Libral Canidate created the App.
