Samsung launches ‘The FlipSide’ social campaign for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 via CHEP Network

Samsung Electronics Australia has launched a new social campaign via CHEP Network showing the FlipSides of Samsung’s #TeamGalaxy creators. Coinciding with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, the campaign explores how new possibilities open up when we’re open to change.

Made for Generation TikTok, the #FindYourFlipside campaign launches with a film which flips the narrative on what the creators are known for, using the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 as portals to these alternate realities.

In collaboration with Entropico Films, directed by Natasha Foster and featuring @loserfruit, @dimsimlim @simplydanbrown and @rowisingh, the film features a commissioned track by boundary-breaking Korean/Australian hip-hop collective, 1300. A music video produced by Videohead and directed by Raghav Rampal has also been created for the track.

A content series follows, showing the self-discovery of each creator as they are mentored and motivated through their flipside journey, all with impressive and unexpected results.

Says Eric Chou, director of product and marketing, Samsung Electronics Australia: “Redefining the art of self-expression is one of the core pillars of our Galaxy Z Flip4. With this social-first campaign, we’re looking to challenge the status quo by flipping what is expected, and inspiring our creators in unanticipated and entertaining ways.”

Says Kirsty Gavin, national group creative director, CHEP Network: “With celebrity gamer, Loserfruit, taking her moves offline to learn a dance routine and chef @dimsimlim swapping his culinary skills to experience jewelry design, we demonstrate that flipping what our creators are renowned for instantly creates unexpected content.”

The campaign has rolled out across Samsung’s social channels including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, BVOD, Pinterest and Yahoo.
