Robbie Brammall returns to adland as new chief marketing and innovation officer at Bullfrog

Robbie Brammall, former Director of Marketing and Communications at Tasmania’s Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), has joined Melbourne independent agency Bullfrog in the newly created role of Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer.
Brammall brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, including a successful career as an adland creative director and eight years leading marketing for MONA and its associated brands under owner David Walsh. During his tenure, he oversaw the marketing of 30 brands, including the MONA museum, Mofo festival, Moo Brew brewery, three wineries, four restaurants, eight bars, a fleet of ferries with fibreglass animals for seats, a recording studio featuring Abbey Road’s original mixing desk, and a luxury hotel — along with a number of eComm businesses.
At MONA, Brammall was a key force behind the evolution of its in-house agency and played a central role in navigating the business through major growth, the Covid pandemic, and a subsequent recovery driven by tourism and eCommerce.
After departing MONA in October last year, he launched his own marketing and communications consultancy, Brandango. Earlier in his career, Brammall held creative roles at several top agencies, including DDB Melbourne, The Campaign Palace, Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand, VML Melbourne, and Clemenger BBDO.
