Workplace-film.jpgFor all the time we spend at work, the modern workspace has not seen meaningful innovation in decades. How is it that the offices of ad agencies and law firms are almost indistinguishable? And what effect is this having on the way we work?

Debuted at this year’s Venice Biennale, Workplace, a documentary by Gary Hustwit (Helvetica, Urbanized and Objectified), explores the history and future of the modern office. Following the design and construction of R/GA’s global headquarters in New York, the film showcases the journey that R/GA took as they reimagined the relationship between architecture, design, and technology to create a truly connected workplace.

The full film is now available exclusively on the R/GA website.

The doco features interviews with Bob Greenberg, Norman Foster, Nick Law, Barry Wacksman, Chloe Gottlieb, Julia Goldberg, Daniel Diez, Chris West, Nikil Saval, Primo Orpilla, and many more.
