Hannan is one of the country’s leading sports marketers and joins Wonder following almost a decade at Red Bull Australia in which time he was responsible for the creation, direction and production of some of Australia’s most innovative sports marketing activities.

Hannan (far left), who left Red Bull in 2010 after ten years at the company, joined the agency today, working alongside Wonder managing director Adrian Popek (centre) and creative director Glen Condie (right).

Included in Hannan’s long list of credits are the global launch of Red Bull’s Formula One Team (2005), the Australian leg of Air Race (2006, 2007, 2008), Billy Cart GP (2004), Cluster Film Festival (2006 2007), Flugtag (2008, 2010), Junior Surf Masters (2008, 2009) and Rails (2005).

Hannan has executive produced many hours of content including The Sixth Element, a feature length film documenting the incredible life of big wave surfer Ross Clarke Jones.

Additionally he has managed a team of high profile international athletes during his time at Red Bull. The team included World Champions, Olympians and highly world ranked athletes from sports as diverse as swimming, surfing, triathlon, rugby, skiing and snowboarding, freestyle motoX and many others.

Says Wonder CD and founder Glen Condie: “There is no need to talk up Luke Hannan. Just look at Red Bull’s sports programme for the last decade. Doesn’t matter if you are talking about Formula One, Footie, Surf, Skate, Snow or whatever, Luke’s been all over it. We’re just stoked that he wants to work with us.”

Adds Hannan: “I’m super excited to join the team at Wonder. I have worked with Adrian and Glen before and know they are absolutely committed to progressive, innovative work. This is the kind of work I love. I know what we are capable of achieving together and am looking forward to a really successful partnership.”
