Realtor channels inner warrior to ‘slay’ in Canva’s new ‘Put Imagination to Work’ campaign

Australian software giant Canva has unveiled its latest brand platform ‘Put Imagination to Work’ with a series of films directed by Traktor through Stink Films LA, post-production handled by The Editors Sydney, music and sound by Otis Studios and media led by OMD.

The campaign champions creativity as the driving force behind everyday work, showing how Canva helps professionals unlock ideas and transform them into impactful results.

The first film, launched today, follows a realtor who channels her inner warrior to ‘slay’ sales and outpace the competition. Two further spots will roll out in the coming weeks, featuring a solopreneur transforming their small business and an HR leader reimagining training.

Each spot takes inspiration from folklore and fantasy, blending office life with warriors, witches, and vampires – reframing everyday challenges as imaginative triumphs.

Alongside the brand films, product-focused creative showcases Canva’s Visual Suite 2.0, including its new tool Canva Sheets, which combines data, content and design in one intuitive format. Future executions will highlight Video, Social Media and Website products.

Says Cat van der Werff, Executive Creative Director, Canva: “In a world of tight deadlines and constant pressure to do more with less, this campaign is about getting creatively unstuck by unlocking imagination and putting it to work. We capture those ‘aha!’ moments where a spark of inspiration can become something real and impactful.

“From a realtor slaying sales to a small business owner finding their edge, every story is told with a folklore-inspired twist, because who says everyday work can’t feel a little magical?”

The new work continues Canva’s mission to make design accessible to everyone, positioning imagination as the spark that connects productivity with creativity.
