R/GA executive creative director Kieran Antill departs R/GA Sydney after a year in the role

After a year with R/GA, executive creative director Kieran Antill has departed the agency to focus on other companies.

Prior to joining R/GA in June last year,  Antill co-founded two companies, both of which has seen significant growth in the last twelve months. www.timebirds.com – a sports tech company – raised 1.5 million to see its first-generation timers hit the market in Australia and now the US and www.Ne-Lo.com, a specialist consultancy who work with businesses to increase their positive impact through a compelling corporate purpose and focused customer and employee experience strategy.

Known for their work with the CEOs and executive teams of medium to large businesses, having worked closely with the likes of the iconic Dymocks Books and education powerhouse Bendigo Kangan Institute over recent years. Businesses of this size constantly fight just to keep up in the battle for talent, customers, and reputation. Conversely, the most successful businesses apply the same six principles to stand out as the places people want to buy from, work for, and be associated with. This the Experience Advantage, and Ne-Lo’s passion is helping businesses gain it.

Says Antill: “I have great belief in R/GA’s global ambition and capabilities. However, I have conflicting ownership in Ne-Lo.com, which has pending plans to announce its investment into a new brand offering (Syd/Melb). My time gets even fuller as co-founder of timebirds.com which saw a 1.5M funding round in 2020/21. I take a lot of value from my time with the R/GA crew but my passion is with the continued growth of the Ne-Lo Group.”

Antill’s background spans a number of leadership roles: leading creative teams at Leo Burnett New York and JWT Melbourne as managing partner and ECD and executive creative director respectively. He also held the role of creative director of Tennis Australia for the 2019 Australian Open.

Antill has previously been ranked as the #1 art director worldwide at the Cannes Lions Festival and #3 in the World on the Gunn report – later acknowledged by the Australian government publication ‘Australia Unlimited’ as one of Australia’s top creative exports.
