Queensland Health appoints Publicis as new agency to help tackle obesity in Queensland
After a five-way competitive pitch, Queensland Health has partnered with Publicis to tackle one of Queensland’s most critical health issues, obesity.
Says Jane Martin, director of marketing and communications, Queensland Health: “We’ve chosen to partner with Publicis because of their deep understanding and experience with behaviour change marketing. Through the pitch process they demonstrated first-class, integrated strategic, creative and technology thinking, resulting in solutions that are going to really tackle the heart of the issue.
“Secondly we loved their collaborative style of working which became very obvious when we first met the team and it has come to fruition as we create the work to launch into market over the coming three months.”
Says Ryan Petie, executive creative director, Publicis: “Obesity is one of the most critical health issues of our time. We’re excited to partner with the Queensland Health team to create real change in Queenslanders’ lives. We’re both passionate teams who truly believe that creativity can solve the world’s problems, so I can’t wait to launch our work and see the results.”
The obesity campaign will launch into market in the coming months.

When an agency provide alcohol and make people stay late, how does that relate to staying healthy? How can you promote it and don’t do that yourself?
