Publicis Groupe buys digital-marketing agency Razorfish from Microsoft for $530 million

In a move that will generate 25% of Publicis Groupe’srevenue from digital, the holding company will buy Razorfish, thedigital-marketing agency owned by Microsoft since 2007, in a cash andstock deal worth about $530 million, according to AdAge.com. As a result, Amnesia Razorfish, Sydney will become part of Publicis, owner of agency brands Saatchi & Saatchi and Leo Burnett, and part owner of Publicis Mojo.
