Celebrated photographer Gary Heery now represented by The Kitchen Creative Management
The Kitchen Creative Management has announced they are now representing award winning photographer Gary Heery. Best known for his celebrity portraiture, Heery has many accolades to his name. He is the photographer behind some of pop culture’s most iconic images with a portfolio that boasts an impressive collection of portraits of Madonna, Andy Warhol, Roy Orbison, Elvis Costello and Cate Blanchett (left).
In addition to his well known celebrity portaiture, Heery is passionate and energetic about his personal projects.
He has produced and published several photographic books, translating his skills as a portrait photographer to capture animals, flora and real people. Somewhat of a chameleon, it is clear that regardless of the subject, Heery is a great craftsman and artist.
His commercial work has won him a Gold at AWARD and most recently a Pinnacle at AGDA. His advertising work, which has appeared in Luerzers Archive and Communication Arts, includes campaigns for American Express, Pepsi, Sunsilk, Palmolive, Dove, Westpac, Qantas and Coca Cola. He was a three time finalist in the Citi Bank Portrait Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW, finalist in the National Gallery Portrait Prize and he has been selected in the American Photographer Annual.

Gary does beautiful work, and he seems to have a knack for pulling images from performers that so many others cannot.
The Kitchen have added a master of the portrait to their roster.
Gary is one of, if not THE best. Well done The Kitchen for this coup.
