Portmans enlists in-demand model Abbey Lee Kershaw for Autumn Winter 2011 collection

Established Australian high-street brand Portmans has enlisted the coveted face of Abbey Lee Kershaw for Autumn Winter 2011. A favourite of Karl Lagerfield, Steven Meisel and Terry Richardson, Kershaw is one of the world’s most in-demand models.

Fresh from working with the likes of Chanel and Tom Ford, Portmans has utilised the Melbourne-born beauty’s talent throughout their latest campaign and the results make a stunning statement.

Portmans has a strong history of supporting Australian talent byrecruiting the likes of Miranda Kerr, Elyse Taylor and Jess Hart; theirrespect for Kershaw is no exception.

Shot by sought-after fashionphotographer Nicole Bentley, the all-star creative team behindKershaw’s shoot for Portmans included stylist Christine Centenera,Make-up Artist Amanda Reardon and Hair Stylist Daren Borthwick.

Kershaw brings to life Portmans’ Autumn Winter 2011 collection whichcaptures an eclectic mix of romantic traveller, bohemian military andpolished lady-like aesthetics.  The play on textures is pivotal in thiscollection and sees shearing, leather and thick knits layered overfine, sheer fabrics and floral prints in warm nude hues. Utilitysilhouettes provide structure to luxe embellishment and relaxed lines,while a more demure look is explored through feminine tailoring inpretty dresses, full skirts and soft knits with ruffle and lacedetails.
