Pizza Hut and Four’N Twenty announce the arrival of their lovechild in a campaign via Host Sydney
Two of Australia’s favourite brands, Pizza Hut and Four’N Twenty, have teamed up to create the Four’N Twenty Stuffed Crust Pizza, with this week’s national launch supported by TV, online, radio, social media and PR through Host Sydney.
Over the past few weeks the brands have engaged in a form of online courtship that’d make Warney and Liz Hurley blush. Fans of the brands have been entertained by, and involved in, a relationship that’s seen it all – from very public displays of affection, to jealousy, and wild mood swings. This week all was revealed with the arrival of their lovechild: the Four’N Twenty Stuffed Crust Pizza.
Says Fatima Syed, head of marketing and innovation, Pizza Hut Australia: “Aussies love pizza and we love pies, so in a world first we’ve brought these two legendary foods together in the crust, the perfect combination for the heart of the footy season.”
Says Stuart Smyth, general manager, Four’N Twenty: “It really has been an exciting process to work with one of the world’s biggest pizza brands, seeing our newest addition, the Four’N Twenty Pie Bites, fit so well into Pizza Hut’s famous Stuffed Crust pizzas.”
The Four’N Twenty Stuffed Crust is available nationally for a limited time.

My wife’s worst nightmare.
On a campaign that made me laugh for a product that made me spew.
I work on a portion of the Four ‘N Twenty account. I wonder what was running through Stuart’s head when he thought it would be a good idea to tag-team his product with a brand like Pizza Hut, in a frankenfood that will doubtless be roundly pilloried and declaimed as obesity in a cardboard box. Way to promote your brand values! Whatever the hell they are after this exercise?

I saw this TVC on air the other night. It made me laugh.
Yep.
Wasn’t this one of the Gruen ‘sell the unsellable’ episodes ?
The idea, that is. Still undecided on the pizza. Although seven beers in and I’d give it a red hot go.
If you think pies (in particular four n twenty) are ahead of pizza hut in the brand prestige stakes, you’re dreamin. I’d say it’s a perfect marriage.
What a load of shite.
Just call the the ‘Shark Jumpin’ Pizza’ and move on.
what a contrived piece of orchestrated nonsense.
gross ‘food’ and grosser ‘marketing’.
I kind of like the case study. Although I miss the days when people had ideas instead of tweets / collaborations / spin / nonsense.

You should both resign.
Still waiting for the Peanuts and Chewing Gum combo.
