Peter Bray quits CEO gig at The Brand Shop, Sydney for CEO role at Pareto Fundraising
Pareto Fundraising, the largest Australian agency dedicated to the not for profit sector, has snared The Brand Shop, Sydney CEO Peter Bray as its new CEO (Australia and New Zealand).
“When the opportunity came along to lead Australia’s best agency dedicated to the not for profit sector, it was something I couldn’t say no to,” says Bray, who has been a vocal critic of anonymous slagging on certain advertising blogs.
“Amazing clients that make a real, positive difference to the world and a strong, united team is an incredibly attractive combination, while the not for profit sector is an area that I have always been involved with and am passionate about.”
Says Sean Triner, one of the founders of Pareto Fundraising: “Peter is a proven leader, and has consistently shown vision combined with world class ability and know how. We are very excited to have someone of his caliber leading the company to capitalize on what we have achieved to date. Those that have heard him speak at various events in Australia and internationally will be as excited as we are.”
As head of STW Group owned agency The Brand Shop, Bray has a wealth of experience in both the commercial and not for profit sector.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Brand Shop since I joined in 2009. Having the opportunity to lead the team to a successful year in 2010 was very rewarding, and I will miss all the staff and clients. However, I am very confident that 2011 will be an even better year for the company under the management team in place. The opportunity to have a role at STW Group under great leadership was also a highlight,” says Bray.
Bray is also a director of CHOICE, (The Australian Consumers’ Association) as well as being the National Vice President of the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association and a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
